Home...home at last. I decided today to start eating healthier and intaking more protein and less carbos and fats. You know, doctors wars us that eating unhealthy could leave to shorter lives, but they never mention that shopping for healthier foods couuld burn a a hooe in your wallet. I could fill my shopping cart full of junk food and not even pay half of what I did today with half a cart of healthy food. Wyy buying meat and chicken is so expensive is beyond me. As I write this I am waiting fo rmy dinner to get done. I made turkey and portabello mushroom meatloaf with dill new potatoes and asparagus. Sounds good eh?

I also want to start growing my own frehs herbs because the bottled ones are pathetically ineffective. So I bought an oregano and thyme plant....it will be interesting ot see what kills them first, the lack of sunlight, or my inquisitive cats. Derby couldn;t care less after sniffing them, but Fosse seems determined ot eat the oregano no matter how bitter it tastes to him....sigh...how blessed I am.

I am having a techno-geek night with Sara. We are going ot try and videoconference/netmeet and try to getout syllabi made and explore the fun world of html. I think I have officially beomce a web-geel..may God have mercy on my soul. I'll take care of my rants later tonight...off I am to baste!!!!
