Hey Old Friend....Whadday Say Old Friend?

I know it has almost been a m nth, but the last two months were crazy with papers, performances, and auditions. Things have been going swimmingly as I am getting more work than ever and am trying to eliminate unsupportive and unfriendly elements from my environment.

I had to blog about tonight because I had an amazing time at a reunion dinner. Short background: when I graduated high school, I stayed around for the next 8 years as volunteer helping out the drama club. There was a group of kids with whom I grew up and whom I watched grow up for their four years. After they graduated, as is tradition, we all drifted although some of us would keep in contact sporadically. Jacob, a dear friend of mine, left for his mission two years ago (ironically, to my home country, Armenia). That was when everyone lost more contact. Well Jacob came back last week and somehow we all managed to contact each other, thanks to Jason Ollman, and we planned a reunion dinner in 48 hours. There were two people who were sadly missing, but it was an amazing time. I was very apprehensive all night long, as were a few others. We did not know WHAT to expect from each other, let alone ourselves. But it was like we had never left. We are all still the same, although older and more mature, and the kids whom I once called my kids have become peers and good friends (there are only 3-4 years difference in our ages). We had a blast catching up, reminiscing, looking at baby pictures, talking about people missing. I loved it. It was exactly what I needed this holday season. I truly love these people, despite all out flaws, and I loved being around them. Who knows where it will go from here. We all want to see each other, but life always has a way of getting in the middle of these things.

Anyway, just wanted to thank all of them for being such an amazing integral part of my life....

Jacob and I have much to catch up on as he know more about my country and culture than I do. He even spoke some Armenian and I think the little mormon bastard knows more than I do now. Gotta love it...

I hope everyone is well. I miss those of you I don't get to see as often and am thinking of you always.
