No, not going on one. Just commenting on the fact that I was inadvertantly on one. Things have been hectic and somewhat confusing lately. Rehearsals for Chicago are going well. It;s nice to get back into the groove of being a chorus person and singing and dnacing, and I am thoroughly enjoying being dance captain. All the fun of a choreographer with very little of the responsibilities. I am loving the cast witht he exception of a few people and it;s nice getting to share the stage with some people I have been wanting to work with and those whom I have not worked with in a long time. Still not sure how I feel about my place in the show but we'll see how everything progresses.
I had a rather restless night filled with some pretty awful dreams...not the scary kind with monsters....just what I refer to aspossibility dreams. You know, the ones that include people you know that situations you are familiar with and what a progression of things that could actually happen in real life. Had me somewhat frazzled and put me in a funk. But one positive thing came of the funk, I cleaned my apartment, took down the Xmas decorations, cleaned out the fridge, cleaned the kitches, cleaned out the storage closet, bought and put away groceries, took a shower, and am updating my blog. I am just not doing well.
Spent all day yesterday judging the District 4 Thespian competition, and while it was thoroughly exhausting, I did enjoy it. It was fun getting to watch people I know perform and it was fun sharing in the joy that some close people had when they were picked to showcase. I am very proud of my elf and my FBIA. I am especially proud because I had little to no involvement in their material. It;s just nice seeing people grow and expand their talent and have an opportunity to have it validated by professionals and peers.
In the meantime, during all this craziness, I have to write to the mormon, figure out what I want to do with my life, try to find a more stable job, and get myself out of this horrible state I have fallen into. Sounds like a fun-filled evening for me.
