PromoGuy's Monday Mission 2.29

1. Do you remember your first encounter with computers? Tell me about that.

Yeah. My brother;s Commodore 64 which he would never let me use. I used to marvel at the computer games and want to play them dayand night. I thought it was so cool. I especially went nuts the day he had a program that would speak. He would type in statements and the computer would say em. I thought the damn thing was real, I would sometimes talk back to it.

2. How late can you stay up and still be functional the next day? Do you do that very often?

I can survive on 3 to 4 hours of sleep for about three days in a row and the my body will just crash. I have always been the kind who stays up late and wakes up early. I have learned to live on little sleep when necessary. Not that I like doing it cause I like my sleep.

3. When was the last really good hug you got from another adult? Who was it and what was the situation?

My friend Jorge. No situation. Just one of those hello/goodbye hugs you get from friends. Was warm, comfortable, familiar and full of love.

4. One thing about children is that they all like to draw. We all shared the same ability and skill level at one time. Do you still like to draw? (Not do you think you draw well, or do others, but do you like to?) If not, how come? Did you get discouraged at some point?

Yeah, I have always loved to draw. I can remember looking ta my brother's sketch books (he has the real drawing talent) and wishing I could do that. So I learned to be a visual drawer. I can basically visually trace out anything I see in front of me. However, I do paint. I do get discouraged because I have all these fantastic images in my head that I wish I could put onto page.

5. I way overslept today. I had to head to work with no shower (don't get too close), and I am not in the best of moods. Have you ever overslept on a day you had something important going on? What's the story there?

Yes. Several times. I have been late for school to teach, I have been late to see shows. It sucks.

6. Ever go shopping for something you know you can't afford? You look at it and even think about how it will look when you get it home, somehow you justify the cost and believe it can happen? And just before you get to the counter come to your senses? What was the last thing you almost bought, but thought better of it? And why the heck do we do that to ourselves?

LOL....YES...all the time. I always justify it by thinking I can cut corners somewhere else, or use that evil nasty thing called a credit card. I almost bought some stuff on ebay the other night, but I had to stop myself and think: Hello! BILLS, not BEADS. Don;t ask.

7. (It begins again...) It's all such a blur now. I'd asked you to help me wake up but the alarm didn't go off. It was 10 till and just I knew I'd be late. Somehow you got me here on time. How did you do that?

Because I am good like that and I know how to make things work even in the face of adversity and trauma.

BONUS: Can't you see, you belong to me?

Bitch....i;m blind. I can;t see shit.
